Thought Provoked

What are the benefits of treatment?

Thought Field Therapy can provide rapid alleviation of problems, with most clients expressing relief from pain and distress after just one session. Results, in most cases, appear to be permanent.

Following successful treatment, the client can remember the event without the associated painful emotion.

Treatment is gentle and non-invasive, requiring no drugs or special equipment.

The application of Neuro Linguistic Programming models and techniques by the therapist can help the client to clarify and define desirable outcomes for both personal and business life. The client is enabled to be in control of their thoughts and feelings, leading to greater self esteem and positive attitude. By creating greater flexibility of behavioural choice, clients can more easily make decisions that are aligned with their personal values and beliefs.

Where preferred, the practitioner can work content free. This means that the client does not have to enter lengthy discussions about their problem before treatment can take place.

What does a Thought Field Therapy treatment involve?

Following an initial consultation, the client is asked to think about the presenting problem and rate the level of distress between 1-10. This then provides a measurement tool to evaluate treatment progress and success.

The trained practitioner will then request that the client tap gently on appropriate acupressure points across the upper half of the body, whilst continuing to think about the problem. Sometimes the practitioner may also tap the client where it is appropriate to do so.

Treatment is considered successful once the client measures the level of distress as insignificant or eradicated and this, in many cases, will be at the end of the first session. Success rates can be as high as 97%.
